LUMINA

The story of Lumina began when the members were introduced to each other at the school's songwriting course. Lucky for us, their jamming session turned out well and they formed into Lumina.

Lumina makes happy-sad indiepop. With two female vocalists and harmonically rich compositions, their style is close to ABBA and Fleetwood Mac, but as they all have different artists that have inspired them (for example Bon Iver, Amy Winehouse and Marina), it’s hard for them to name only one or two musical inspirations that they would reference as a band. One could say that all their different inspirations combined is the reason for our emotional, rhythmic and lyrically expressive music.

“Our art is meant to move people - either emotionally or physically.”

Luminas songs are packed with different emotions: love, excitement, sadness, longing etc, and their goal is to deliver that emotion to the listener.

From Luminas Mepochino live set we can expect skilled and harmonious instrumentals, sensitive yet strong vocals and emotional performances.
